Meet The Team
Mark Jurich
Mark Jurich has an extensive background and depth of knowledge in the college athletics industry. He has dedicated the last ten years working in University of Louisville athletics department shaping the future of the program. While at UofL, he served in many roles, most recently, Senior Associate Athletic Director for Development – a position he held for five years. His primary responsibilities included oversight of the Cardinal Athletic Fund, the department’s fundraising arm and primary sport administrator for baseball, softball, men’s and women’s golf. As the lead fundraiser, he oversaw the development of $100M worth of capital projects and over $160M raised in annual fund contributions. He personally raised over $80M during his tenure at UofL and secured ten seven-figure gifts ranging from $1M to $15M.
In addition to his fundraising and administration responsibilities, Mark Jurich assisted the Vice President and Director of Athletics with the head coaching hires of Bobby Petrino and Charlie Strong, assisted with football administration oversight, served on the senior hiring committees for the Vice President of Advancement and the Chief Financial/Operating Officer for the University. Mark has served on a number of conference committees, including the Big East and ACC Baseball committees, as well as chairing the ACC Fan Experience and Attendance Committee. Mark holds an Executive Masters in Business Administration from the University of Kentucky/University of Louisville, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Louisville.
Lainey Jurich
Lainey Jurich is creative and passionate with an insatiable appetite to achieve results for every clients’ business. Lainey is an experienced real estate professional with a demonstrated history of working in the commercial real estate industry. Skilled in negotiations, market research, lease administration, customer service, location intelligence and most recently, commercial development, Lainey’s experience makes her an asset to any team or client. Leveraging her experience as a student-athlete, her education and work experience, Lainey is a proven solution-based professional.
Lainey is a proud alumni of the University of Louisville. Lainey is married to Mark and together, they have three children: Jay Ryan, Jack and Remy.
Julianne Waldron
Julianne’s core passion and strength is creative value development and is proven to produce at the highest levels in university advancement, college athletics and professional sports. She is one of first professionals in the nation to develop a universal campus-wide sponsorship program: a formal policy that had administration and faculty buy-in and produced a sustained revenue stream.
Julianne holds a M.S. from Northwestern University in Integrated Marketing Communications and a B.A. in Communications from DePauw University. She lives in Louisville, Kentucky with her family.
